and an expanded leadership skill set. My team is well-informed,
cooperative and excited".
· "This has been a life-changing experience".
Assessment:
Leadership begins with self-knowledge.
Self-knowledge is a key factor in any personal development
exercise. Following a comprehensive assessment of leadership competencies
and a 3600 survey, all participants receive detailed, individual
feedback that provides a sound foundation for enhanced self-knowledge.
This helps them to:
Identify
specific areas of individual strengths and weaknesses
Learn how
specific skills and practices impact leadership performance
Develop
leadership skills necessary to adapt to a changing environment
Understand
a leader's role in creating a high performance culture
Challenge:
Growth takes place when challenges are overcome.
The most powerful developmental experiences are those that challenge
the way we think and act and that force us to develop new strategies
for solving problems. To challenge participants, this Program
delivers a minimum of seven days of seminars that include:
Leadership
simulations, interactive exercises and presentations
Practical
problem solving in small teams
Preparation
of an Individual Development Plan in support of organizational
objectives
Support:
Obstacles become opportunities when support
is at hand.
Leadership development cannot be a one-shot event:
it requires a concerted effort over a period of time. Individuals
striving to develop their leadership skills require ongoing support
to help them deal with the kind of challenging experiences that
will stretch their abilities. The coaching element of this Program
includes:
Ongoing
support and coaching by an experienced executive
Ongoing
monitoring of Individual Development Plans and Organizational
Projects
Access
to a roster of coaches with a wide variety of expertise
Networking:
Maintaining and extending contacts are essential
steps to career growth.
Each group enrolled in our Program includes individuals from
a variety of different sectors and creates networking opportunities
that would not otherwise exist. Although class size is limited
to 24, the CCI Leadership Institute has an active local Alumni
Group, which meets quarterly. There, current participants and
graduates have the opportunity to develop new contacts and reacquaint
themselves with past classmates.
We continue to evolve the seminar topics to ensure these future
leaders remain "state of the art". Alumni have access
to current materials through attendance at special workshops and
through notes made available on our website.
